The Udaya Resorts & Spa

16.01.2019

I always do a lot of research before I go on a new trip. One of my favorite sources for inspiration is social media, it´s the perfect place to get to see what other people done and what they thought about it.

Going to Bali was no exception and every time I was looking for inspiration on Instagram with the hashtag #Bali this hotel came up, everyone seemed to go there! And from just looking at the pictures I really felt that I understood why, it looked amazing! I just felt I needed to visit this place!

It might be a little bit more expensive so maybe it´s not a place for a backpacker budget. But if you want to spoil yourself a little bit extra for a couple of days this is the perfect place to do it!

If you visit The Udaya with someone special, there is many ways to make your time here extra special. Besides the magical floating breakfast you can suprise the one you love with a beautiful and relaxing flower bath or like we did, you can have a privare candle light dinner up on the roof top, that was for sure a memorable moment. But no matter what you decide to do, or if you just stay in your room the whole time you will have an amazing time and experience here because it´s really something extra!

There are many different ways to stay here, in a regular hotel room, in a private pool Villa or like we did, in a "pool suite". From the moment we arrived and checked in we was in love! This was without any doubt one of the most beautiful rooms we stayed in, not only in Indonesia but all over the world! I need to go back here more times, I just need to!

As a visitor here you get a free massage when you check in, very relaxing! The resort also offers free shuttle service from the hotel to Ubud Centrum and back several times every day. You can choose to have you´re breakfast in the hotel restaurant or as we did, pay a little extra to get a "floating brakfast" served in your pool. Yes you did read that right, in your pool, not next to it :)

I´ve been seeing all this pictures from peole having floating breakfast and I´ve been thinking that could that really be nice? Do I really want to eat in the people, sitting there, being wet... I dont know if that´s something for me... Well, let me tell you this, floating breakfast is the best thing ever! I LOVED IT! It was a uniqe experience, a really special moment, and I didn´t want the breakfast time to end so we had the floating breakfast every day during our stay :)
