Hotel Ai Mori dÒriente - Venezia

If you are looking for a true romantic hideaway where you can spoil yourself and the one you love, this is the perfect weekend trip!

Where should I start... Well from the second we arrived to Venice we felt so well cared of and our romantic weekend started right away as we got picked up by our private driver who drove us to a private boat that where waiting for us. Then we went out on one of the most romantic boat tours I ever taken!

We had the whole boat for ourselves and we got to cruise the canals of Venice throughout the sunset, it was magical!

When we arrived at the hotel, Ai Mori dÒriente, we felt like we just had the highlight of this day, but then we got to see our room and the welcoming from the hotel and it almost brought me to tears! We got the most amazing suite with a view our the canals of Venice. Our bed was romanticly decorated with rose petals and we had gotten a big fruit basket, a bowl with strawberries, buscuits, champange and a book about Venice to bring with us home, I was overwhelmed with gratitude! Thank you so much for this amazing and warm welcome! <3

But the room and our welcome was not the only thing we loved about this wonderful hotel! The treatment we got from the first time arriving and constantly during our whole stay was so warm, true service from the heart! Everyone working here deserves a star, but I have to mention Emanuel in the restaurant a little bit extra, what a great person he was, If I owned a hotel he would be the first I hired! :)

Besides us just having an amazing stay here at Ai Mori dÒriente we also got a private tour guide from the hotel manager Filippo. We appreciated this so much. We got to see things and places you might not find strolling around on your own as a tourist and we got to know the history about Venice. I´m very grateful, thank you Filippo!

Other info;

Location: I thought the location was perfect, walking distance to pretty much everything. We walk to Piazza San Marco every day but we still felt that the hotel had this feeling of privacy that we like, it was not that hectic around the hotel area.

If you visit Venice you have to go on a private gondola tour and of cours visit all the well known tourist atraction spots like PiazzaSan Marco. But the perfect thing about Venice is that it dosen´t really matter what you do or where you go, the atmospehere is so romantic everywhere and it´s so beautiful all over!
